Thank you for registering for the 12th edition of the DKV-UrbanTrail.
To make your participation as pleasant of possible, we invite you to take note of the following information.
- Withdrawal of start numbers and “last minute” registrations :
Number withdrawals and “last minute” registrations will be possible at the :
AUCHAN Kirchberg shopping center, in the gallery (5 Rue Alphonse Weicker) :
- Friday 21.04 from 10:00 to 20:00
Trail Village at the Cité Judiciaire (18, Plateau du Saint-Esprit) :
- Saturday 22.04 from 13:00 to 18:00
- Sunday 23.04 from 8:30 to 10:30
ATTENTION: Please bring your own safety pins to fix your start number.
- Changes of distance :
The change of distance will be possible the day before the DKV-UrbanTrail, on Saturday 22.04, between 13:00 and 18:00 at the Cité Judiciaire, upon presentation of your payment receipt. No change of distance is possible on the day of the journey.
If the price of the new distance is higher, you will have to pay the difference. If the price is lower, there will be no refund.
Any change will incur a handling fee of €3.00, payable in cash or by credit card.

- For Team Run participants :
The 1st runner will start at 11:50 and 12:00 from the Cité Judiciaire. The 2nd runner (6 km) will take the lift from the Cité Judiciaire, down to Grund and take the Münster bridge and turn right into Bisserweg, 200 meters away. The 1st runner will return to the Cité Judiciaire in the opposite direction by taking the lift again.

The 3rd runner (7 km) takes the lift from the Cité Judiciaire, down to Grund and takes the Münster bridge and turns left into rue Munster and rue de Tréves at the INS. The return to the Cité Judiciaire for the 2nd runner will be in the opposite direction by taking the lift again.

- Your running time :
Your running time will be displayed on your arrival. You can also find the time the next day on our website www.urbantrail.lu.
- Refreshment points :
Refreshment points are located along the course, every 5 km.
The refreshment point on arrival is at the village trail next to the big tent.
ATTENTION: during your race please use a foldable and reusable cup !
As we are concerned about the environment, we will no longer provide disposable cups at the various refreshment points!
- Prize-giving ceremony from 14:00 :
The first 3 men & women of each race will be rewarded with a cup and a cash prize. To be eligible, they must be present at the prize giving ceremony.
Podium for the first veterans (V1, V2, V3, V4, V5) men and women of each race.
All children participating in the Spuerkeess Tweenz MiniTrails will receive a medal.
- Catering :
Catering stands (drinks & food) are available at the Trail Village in the Cité Judiciaire.
- Lockers & Changing Rooms :
A locker is at your disposal at the Trail Village in the Cité Judiciaire.
ATTENTION: please use the “Securitec” bag that will be given to you with your race number to store your personal objects/clothing !
We will not be able to accept any other bags, objects or containers at the locker room!
The organisers decline all responsibility in case of loss or theft. Please do not leave any valuables in your personal belongings.
Changing rooms will be available at the Trail Village in the Cité Judiciaire.
- Showers :
Showers are available at the “Badenstalt” (12, rue des Bains ; 600 m walking distance from the Cité Judiciaire) upon presentation of your number at the entrance.
- Toilets :
You will find toilets in the Trail Village at the Cité Judiciaire as well as public toilets either near the “Gëlle Fra” or at the exit by taking the lift to the Grund.
- Weather :
In order to make the most of your participation in the DKV-UrbanTrail, please check the weather forecast before setting off and make sure you have the right clothing.
- Security :
Be careful, you are not on a closed circuit, respect the rules of the road and respect yourself.
Any injured person must stop another rider or call an ambulance. You also have the possibility to ask the nearest ravi to be repatriated to the Cité Judiciaire.
- Children :
Children participating in the DKV-UrbanTrail always remain under the responsibility of their parent. Please note that you are participating at your own risk and must ensure that you can participate safely.
- Car parks :
Parking Knuedler (11 Rue Notre Dame ; 400 m walking distance from the Cité Judiciaire)
Parking Théâtre (13, place du Théâtre ; 700 m walking distance from the Cité Judiciaire)
Parking Royal-Hamilius (37 Av. Monterey ; 700 m walking distance from the Cité Judiciaire)
Parking du Glacis (21 Allée Scheffer ; 1700 m walking distance from the Cité Judiciaire)
In general, please try to use public transport as much as possible to attend the DKV-UrbanTrail.
- Runners’ pictures :

Have a photo that inspires you every time you look at it?
Photographers from our official partner, Sportonline, are available throughout the race and at the finish to take pictures of the runners.
These photos will be available from Monday 24.04 on the website of Sportonline
- Environmental protection :
The organising team strives to organise the DKV-UrbanTrail in an environmentally friendly way. Please help us to avoid waste. Please use the bins provided! In the finish area and in the trail village, please do not litter outside the feed zones.
ATTENTION: during your race please use a foldable and reusable cup !
As we are concerned about the environment, we will no longer provide disposable cups at the various feeder points !
